As part of a renewable agreement, Italian engineering students enroll at SEC universities each fall, and engineering SEC students study in Italy each spring at the Politecnico di Torino. In addition, by utilizing a cooperative programming agreement, students from all SEC universities have access to education abroad programs offered at other SEC universities. Lastly, the Dr Pepper Awards give SEC students an opportunity to join an SEC faculty-led program.

SEC Announces 2016-17 Recipients of Dr Pepper Education Abroad Awards

Twenty-eight students from Southeastern Conference universities will study abroad during the 2016-17 academic year, the result of a contribution to the league by Dr Pepper. In 2015, the SEC corporate sponsor allocated $100,000 to the conference to provide study abroad opportunities for SEC students.
