Each university within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) appoints a member of its faculty/administration to serve as a representative to the university’s athletics department. The tenure and role of this individual varies. The FARs from each SEC university meet each May in conjunction with the SEC Spring Meetings and hear a report on SECU activities from the SECU’s executive director.
