Each university within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) appoints a member of its faculty/administration to serve as a representative to the university’s athletics department. The tenure and role of this individual varies. The SEC FARs meet each March in conjunction with the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament and hear a report on SECU activities from the SECU’s executive director.
