The 2016 Fall SEC College Tour will make stops in Pittsburgh, Cleveland and at the National Association for College Admission Counseling’s (NACAC) national conference in Columbus, Sept. 19-24.

The fall activity provides SEC admissions representatives the opportunity to showcase their respective universities in a region outside of the Conference’s geographic borders to guidance counselors. The upcoming tour will be the second fall trip.

“The SEC College Tour is very important in helping the University of Florida meet its recruitment and enrollment goals,” said Andrea Felder, Director of Freshmen and International Admissions at the University of Florida. “Through the college tour, we are able to provide information about the academic achievements of not only the University of Florida, but also the stellar achievements of the other 13 universities within the SEC.”

The fall tour will start with a guidance counselor breakfast on Sept. 19 in Pittsburgh, followed by a similar event the next day in Cleveland. SEC admissions representatives will spend the rest of the trip promoting their institutions, as well as the SECU academic initiative, during the NACAC National Conference in Columbus.

The SEC College Tour is part of SECU, the academic initiative of the Southeastern Conference. SECU is the primary mechanism through which the SEC highlights the academic endeavors and achievements of its 14 member universities.
