BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Three central Colorado cities will host the 2022 Spring SEC College Tour as admissions and enrollment professionals from each SEC university conduct outreach activities in Denver, Colorado Springs and Broomfield, April 19-22.
Organized by Texas A&M University, this will be the first in-person SEC College Tour since 2019, and the Conference’s second trip to Colorado. In October 2015, the SEC hosted counselors-only events in Fort Collins and Englewood, along with Denver and Colorado Springs.
“Students attend SEC universities because they want the best college experience in the nation, and we hope tour attendees will understand everything our universities have to offer,” said David Tofel, Director of Recruitment at Texas A&M University. “Our students are succeeding in classrooms and laboratories as much as they are on the court and in the field, and we are proud to showcase how we are igniting careers, transforming lives and changing the world.”
Individual SEC College Tour stops include two events. A college fair is held in the evenings for high school students and their families, and they feature short presentations and question and answer sessions with each SEC university. The next morning, SEC representatives share additional information and admissions details with local school counselors during a breakfast program.
In its 13th year, the SEC College Tour provides an opportunity for local high school students and counselors in a region outside of the SEC’s geographic footprint to learn about SEC institutions from campus experts. Other components of the tour initiative include national virtual events for students and counselors as well as a new international event.
Below are dates and locations for the 2022 Spring SEC College Tour. And, for more information or to register, visit www.SECCollegeTour.org.

The goal of the SEC College Tour is to broadly advance the merit and academic reputation of SEC universities through outreach events. And it is one of several programs designed by the Southeastern Conference to highlight the range of accomplishments of SEC students, faculty and administrators.
