The SEC is pleased to provide opportunities for our faculty, students and administrators to collaborate. For example, through our SECU academic initiative, we support a travel program to further research efforts; education abroad programs for nontraditional education abroad students; and a national student recruiting program aimed at introducing our universities to a diversity of students.
One of our newest efforts is next month’s SEC Academic Conference, which will be hosted by Mississippi State University in Starkville. This edition of the SECU Quarterly is dedicated to this new event. As you read, you will be introduced to the topic as well as the speakers, who represent each SEC university. There is also a link to registration, which is still open for both faculty and students.
I encourage you to take a few minutes to learn more about the SEC Academic Conference, and we hope to see you there.
